The template above and the examples below were made using Inspiration.  If you do not have it, you may access a 30-day free trial at http://www.inspiration.com.  In the center circle, identify the second-order change that is being initiated.  In the seven outer circles that are purple, identify the specific action(s) a principal might take to address the following:  change agent, flexibility, ideal/ beliefs, intellectual stimulation, knowledge of curriculum/ instruction/ assessment, monitoring/ evaluating, and optimizer.  In the four outer circles that are orange, identify the specific action(s) a prinicipal might take/support to address the following that are often concerns in second-order change:  communication, culture, input, and order.  The actions identified should be specific, result in an action that positively impacts the second-order change, and often become the "to do" list for the principal during the second-order change.
